Dhondup Wangchen, a Tibetan filmmaker was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the chinese government in 2008 for views expressed in his films.

Join Amnesty International Group 39 to watch the film “Leaving Fear Behind” to learn about Dhondup Wangchen and the human rights situation in Tibet.  Discussion and actions, including writing letters to support his release, to follow after the film.
