AID Pittsburgh is excited to be hosting journalist and social activist Jiten Yumnam as a part of the AID Speaker Series on Monday, June 16, at 6:00pm, in William Pitt Union, room 540. Jiten Yumnam works with the Center for Research and Advocacy in Manipur (CRAM), which is dedicated to promoting rights of indigenous people in the face of extractive industries like mining and oil exploration.
A reception will follow the lecture.
